چکیده مقاله:

In current study, after one week of adaptation, 250 common carp (Cyprinus carpio) were fed with two levels of Lactobacillus probiotic (106, 107) for 42 days and exposed to 50% lethal concentration of silver nanoparticles at for 10 days. Treatments included a control group, a probiotic group of 106, a probiotic group of 107, a group exposed to silver nanoparticles, a group of exposed to silver nanoparticles and fed with probiotic 106, and a group exposed to silver nanoparticles and fed with probiotic 107. Results showed that there was significant differences in MCV, MCHC, white blood cell, monocyte, neutrophil, hemoglobin, red blood cells and hematocrit between the control group and the treatments (P <0.05). Probiotics had a depletion effect on hemoglobin, red blood cells, hematocrit, and an increased effect on MCV, MCHC, white blood cells, monocytes and neutrophils. Additionally, silver nanoparticles showed depletion effects on hemoglobin, red blood cells, hematocrit, white blood cell monocyte and hemoglobin (MCHC) and increased effect on MCV and neutrophil volume. Altogether, results showed that probiotic   the destructive effects of nanosilver, which led to the reduction of hemoglobin in blood cells (hypocoemic normocytic). Moreover,  higher levels of probiotic (treatment 6) resulted in an increase in hemoglobin of blood cells (hyperchromic urodynamics) which requires further studies in this field.

Effects of Iron Oxide Nano-Particles on the Intestinal Tissue of Common Carp, Cyprinus Carpio

Background: The application of nano-particles (NPs) in various industries is growing. Since their toxicity is not clearly understood, they can cause adverse effects on the environment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the histopathological effects of iron oxide nano-particles on the small intestine of common carp, Cyprinus carpio. Methods: Four experimental treatments were designed (15 ...

Effects of dietary exposure to aflatoxins on some plasma biochemical indices of common carp (Cyprinus carpio)

Aflatoxins are a group of secondary fungal metabolites that occur widely in natural contaminants of many feeds under high humidity and temperature, and are potentially dangerous to fish. Therefore, this study was designed to investigate the effects of aflatoxins on some plasma biochemical indices, as clinical biomarkers, in common carp, Cyprinus carpio. Fish were fed diets contaminated with 0 (...

Common Carp, Cyprinus carpio

The common carp (Cyprinus carpio) belongs to the family Cyprinidae. In nature, carp live in the middle or lower reaches of a river with slow currents, or in marshes. Their habitats are usually weedy areas with a muddy bottom. Carp fry feed on zooplankton such as rotifers and copepods, but as they grow up they become benthic feeders, feeding on animals and other organic material. The cyprinids h...

Effects of dietary Kemin multi-enzyme on survival rates of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) exposed to abamectin

The aim of this study was utilizing Kemin multi-enzyme in common carp (Cyprinus carpio) diet and investigating its impact on fish survival rates exposed to the lethal concentration of abamectin. For this purpose, 42 fish were divided into two experimental diets, containing 0 and 1000 mg/kg of diets for 6 weeks. LC50 of abamectin for fish dietary consumed Kemin multi-Enzyme was determined with d...
